Funeral Catering
Helping Hands was set up initially to cater for funerals in our local village. Catering for funerals is often undertaken by hotels, pubs and restaurants. We wanted to offer an alternative, more personal service in the families' local vicinity. By using local village halls and social centres or even the families own home we provide an intimate personal environment.
Arrangements after the funeral service
Our principal aim is to ensure the catering for the funeral of your loved one runs smoothly with the utmost professionalism, care and respect. We offer an efficient sensitive service, with the attention to detail on which Helping Hands has built its reputation. Making arrangements can be stressful and demanding and we aim to relieve some of the burden at this difficult time. We are able to work around specific requirements, usually at short notice. We will take into account the needs of those travelling long distances, as well as any other times and arrangements to be considered on the day. By selecting the option of our waitress service, we will serve food and drinks at your request, thus allowing more time to be spent with family and friends
